FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Here are the answers to the most frequently asked questions.
Is it a center for women experiencing domestic violence?
While we assist many women facing domestic violence, we are not a shelter, and our address is public. We collaborate with women to enhance their living conditions, regardless of the challenges they encounter.
What if I need to talk to someone?
You can call the center at 514 453 8720, and a representative will call you back as soon as possible to schedule an appointment.
Do I have to be a member to receive help?
No. You can ask the center for help without being a member. However, a card is required to take part in the center's activities. However, women who cannot afford to pay for a card can still become members by telling the workers.
Is the facility accessible for people with reduced mobility and wheelchairs?
Unfortunately, not for the moment. As the house is old and small, we have not been able to adapt the premises for people with reduced mobility. However, we have a wooden ramp that we can add to the front door to facilitate access.
What language can I receive help in?
Help is available in English, French and Spanish.
Do I have to live in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region to receive help or benefit from your services?
No. We're here to help any woman who asks, no matter where she lives.
Will I be asked for identification?
No, we won't ask you for any form of identification.
Do you keep files on participants?
No, we don't keep any records of the participants. Only the information requested at registration is kept in a secure file.
