A dedicated place for all women

We are here to help you in whatever way we can, whether it’s to help you overcome isolation, to provide support and a listening ear, to share your experiences, to get information or referrals, to find hope and ways to improve your situation, or simply to take part in activities that interest you.

The Center offers free services, but we encourage women to become members to support our mission.

Membership is only $5.

Counselling and one-on-one sessions

Free service

The interventions are conducted through one-on-one interviews, ensuring that each woman’s pace and confidentiality are respected.

Individual counselling is ideally available by appointment.

If necessary, some sessions can be conducted via telephone or videoconference to facilitate access for women living in rural Vaudreuil-Soulanges.

Interventions are available in French, English, or Spanish.

Group workshops

Free on presentation of membership card

These programs, which consist of 5 to 10 meetings, focus on different themes and approaches to help participants gain a better understanding of themselves and their environment. They aim to develop self-confidence and self-esteem. To encourage active participation, sharing, and mutual support, each group is limited to a maximum of 12 participants.

The sessions are held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in Saint-Zotique and L’Île-Perrot.

Community center and coffee meetups

Free service

A coffee meetup is a chance to explore and share thoughts on various topics of general interest. Each week, a different theme is presented by a speaker, either from within the Centre or from outside. Members are also encouraged to host a café rencontre to share their expertise.

This event allows women to reflect on the week’s topic and gain a deeper understanding of it. Participants are invited to discuss the theme if they wish.
As the topics change weekly, women can choose to attend just one meetup or participate in several, depending on their interests and needs.

The meetups take place on Mondays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Social awareness activities

Throughout the year, we will engage in various mobilization activities to support social groups advocating for increased public funding for our organization. This is especially important as we are seeing a significant rise in the number of clients in need.

Several mobilization events will coincide with thematic days, including the 12 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women, International Women’s Rights Day, the Day of Action Against Sexual Violence Against Women and Girls, and the World March of Women, among others.

Consequently, our regular programming may be adjusted to align with these mobilization activities. You will receive prior notice of any changes.
